It’s pretty simple really, you need web traffic for a website to make money for you. The more traffic the better but it does need to be targeted to your niche and other traffic that is relevant to your niche.
Improving your site traffic can seem a bit overwhelming, especially when you are confused as to where you should start.
I am sure you have heard, Content is King.
It’s really important to have content that is useful to your visitors or they are just going to leave. Don’t ever forget the power of good content, but at the same time don’t overlook the need for plenty of backlinks.
Frequent updating to your website will get more pages indexed in search engines and should include lots of keywords that will help increase your site traffic.
There are a great number of websites in the Internet, and the easiest way to promote your website is via the search engines. Research show that majority of the website traffic are from the people who use search engines to find your website.
Use keywords and key phrases to promote your website. If you find yourself stumped, you can always use free online tools that can help with keyword selection. Some of these include Google’s Adwords and Webmaster tool. The tools help with the keyword selection through giving you an overview of what people are searching for on a daily basis. After selecting the keywords, it’s time to go to the promotional part.
Online marketing and promotion is a very competitive field. What you can do is find good places to submit your website to using your keywords. Press releases and article submission is a necessary thing. Writing articles with keywords will surely help in boosting website traffic especially if the article directory has a decent amount of monthly traffic. At the end of the article, you can always insert the link of the website to direct people to it. The challenge of article marketing is to persuade readers to visit your website without sounding too promotional. Therefore, using words and making the article flow naturally is the best thing to do.
Build trust and credibility. Aside from using smart content and design, make sure that your website is credible. You can achieve this by requesting clients to post feedback on the website and publishing it online. It is very important that new visitors to the website know that your business is registered to build trust for a long time.
Once you get the hang of it, it’s a win-win situation because the site would have impressive content and the website traffic will be beneficial for your business. If you need a free directory to submit youe website to ,click on the links in this article.

Hello. This is kind of an “unconventional” question , but have other visitors asked you how get the menu bar to look like you’ve got it? I also have a blog and am really looking to alter around the theme, however am scared to death to mess with it for fear of the search engines punishing me. I am very new to all of this …so i am just not positive exactly how to try to to it all yet. I’ll just keep working on it one day at a time Thanks for any help you can offer here.
The theme I use for this blog makes it easy to put a graphic header in but I have used many other blog themes that didn’t make it easy.
I made a back up copy of the file I was editing through the Theme Editor. Then it was just a matter of finding the location that would allow the header image to appear where I meant it to.
It took me a few tries but once I figured it out I was able to go into my other blogs.
I will say I much prefer the blog theme I use now. It’s called Flexibility2 for Wordpress.
This was a really useful post. I have a small business and am looking to set up an online base, so I will definitely have to bear this information in mind when I consider web sales.
